Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, established in 1978, is a private, non-profit medical college and hospital located in Amala Nagar, Thrissur, Kerala. It was founded by the Devamatha Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) congregation, an indigenous Christian religious order.
