The AMC MET College of Nursing is established by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Medical Education Trust with an objective to promote nursing education and to provide best possible nursing care and services to the citizens of Ahmedabad and Gujarat State. The School of Nursing was founded in 1932 and run General Nursing and Midwifery course with intake of 100 students. It has started Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course in the year 2015 with intake of 50 students. This nursing college is affiliate with Gujarat University and INC (Indian Nursing Council) and GNC (Gujarat Nursing Council) have granted permission to run the Basic B.Sc. Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery course. At present 200 students are studying in Basic B.Sc. Nursing and 300 Students are studying in GNM course.
