About Banas Medical College and Research Institute, Palanpur Palanpur, Gujarat

Banas Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI), Palanpur, is a relatively new but rapidly growing medical college in North Gujarat, established in 2018 under the Galbabhai Nanjibhai Patel Charitable Trust (Banas Dairy) under a Public‑Private Partnership model.  It is affiliated with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, and is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). 
The college offers an MBBS degree with an annual intake of 200 seats, of which around 85% are allocated to the Gujarat state quota and 15% to NRI/Management quotas.  Its infrastructure is modern: lecture halls, departmental labs, central library, demonstration rooms, hostels (separate for boys and girls), sports facilities, and other amenities are available. 
The teaching hospital attached to BMCRI is multi‑specialty, providing a broad spectrum of clinical exposure across general medicine, surgery, OB/GYN, pediatrics, orthopaedics, ENT, ophthalmology, anaesthesiology, and more. It includes 24×7 emergency services, trauma care, blood bank, diagnostic facilities etc.
