About BPS Government Medical College for women Sonipat, Haryana

Bhagat Phool Singh (BPS) Government Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan, Sonepat is a government medical college exclusively for women, established in 2012–13 in Haryana.  It is affiliated with Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). 
The college offers an MBBS program with 100 seats for female students, and over time permission has also been granted for postgraduate courses in selected departments.Its campus is spread over about 88 acres, with modern infrastructure and a large teaching hospital attached. The hospital has a bed capacity of around 450 beds, and is well‑equipped with emergency/trauma care, modular operation theatres, ICUs (including neonatal and MICU), diagnostic facilities, and a dialysis unit.  The OPD patient load is high (≈ 1200‑1500 per day), and bed occupancy often exceeds 90–95%, indicating strong clinical exposure for students.
