Caritas College of Nursing was established in 2002 under the Caritas Hospital Trust, managed by the Catholic Archdiocese of Kottayam. The college was declared a minority educational institution in 2007.
It is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur, and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNMC).
The college is closely attached to Caritas Hospital, Thellakom, a 635+ bed NABH- and ISO-accredited super-speciality hospital, ensuring students receive excellent clinical exposure.
