Carmel College of Nursing, located at Chunangamvely, Aluva, is a premier nursing institution run by the Congregation of Mother of Carmel (CMC) Sisters, Vimala Province. It was established in 2011, upgraded from the Carmel School of Nursing that had been functioning since 1968 under Carmel Hospital, Aluva.
The college is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur, and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the Kerala Nurses & Midwives Council (KNMC).
Being attached to Carmel Hospital (a 200-bed multi-specialty hospital), the students gain rich clinical exposure and hands-on training.
