The college, managed by Believers Eastern Church, was established in 2011.
Initially it was located in Karukachal, Kottayam, and later (around August 2019) shifted to Kuttapuzha, Thiruvalla.
The parent hospital is Believers Church Medical College Hospital, a multi-specialty facility with about 500–750 beds, providing clinical exposure to students.
