The School of Nursing was established in Hindu Rao Hospital in the year 1960 for conducting a Course on Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery, of 3½ yrs. duration. The School of Nursing was upgraded to College of Nursing in the year 2019. The College of Nursing is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh I. P. University & recognised by Indian Nursing Council & Delhi Nursing Council. It runs B. Sc. (H) Nursing programme started in HRH from 2019, which is of 4 years duration. It has annual intake of 20+2 (EWS) students (subjected to change). College of Nursing, Hindu Rao Hospital is bound by Rules and regulations laid by INC and GGSIP University.
Curriculum & Scheme of Examination
The Curriculum and the Syllabus for the course is based on Indian Nursing Council Syllabus and approved by GGSIP University, Delhi and Examination pattern is followed as per GGSIP University’s guidelines.
