About CU Shah Medical College Surendranagar, Gujarat

C.U. Shah Medical College & Hospital, located on Dudhrej Road in Surendranagar, was established in 2000 under the management of the Saurashtra Medical Centre trust.  It is a private/trust‑run medical college, affiliated with Saurashtra University, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (formerly MCI). 
The college offers an MBBS program with 100 seats annually.  Postgraduate (MD/MS and Diploma) courses are also available in multiple specialties. 
The campus is spread over approx. 33‑36 acres and includes full pre‑clinical, para‑clinical, and clinical departments. The infrastructure includes a large auditorium (≈ 750 seats), several air‑conditioned lecture halls, a central library with thousands of medical books & journals, laboratories, demonstration rooms, departmental museums etc.  The attached teaching hospital has several hundred beds (≈ 570‑750 based on sources) and offers multi‑speciality clinical exposure, emergency services, ICUs, diagnostic facilities etc.
