About Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Puthupally Kottayam, Kerala
As per the instruction of Kerala Government, this institution was established by Mahatma Gandhi University in the year 1993. Since it’s inception, the institution have been providing quality education to it’s students. The institution posses a large plethora of Alumni who are serving in various prestigious institutions both in India and abroad. In the year 2017 Kerala Government decided to transfer the affiliation of this institution to Kerala University of Health Sciences with the aim to offer all the courses in health sciences from a common single university in this state. Hence to effect the same, this institution was brought under the management of ‘Centre for Professional and Advanced Studies’ created by Kerala Government. Courses offered in this institution are B.Pharm (60 seats) and M.Pharm Pharmaceutics (15 seats). In addition to that, this institution is an approved research centre of Kerala University of Health Sciences. The college is situated in the Manarcad- Puthuppally bye pass road at the place Thalappady.
