Ever since the educational arena in Kerala was thrown open to the self-financing sector, many institutions imparting professional education have mushroomed in the State, but the institutions under Devaki Amma Memorial Trust stand out for their student-centric approach and uncompromising commitment to quality. Our institutions are known as much for the merit of our teaching staff as for the strength of our infrastructure. The rigorous selection process adopted in recruiting well qualified and experienced faculty members and the strict adherence to standards in setting up classrooms and laboratories sets us apart from other similar institutions.
Devaki Amma Memorial Trust, established in 1997 made its first foray into the field of education in 2001, with the establishment of its Teacher Education College offering the B Ed course, with the approval of the NCTE. It is now offering TTE D. Ed. and M. Ed. courses. The Devaki Amma’s Guruvayurappan College of Architecture was started in the year 2011with B. Arch. and is now running M. Arch. also. The Pharmacy College was started functioning from 2003 with B.Pharm. course and it is now offering M. Pharm. program in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmacology. The college of pharmacy has become an authorized research center by Kerala University of Health Sciences in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmacology branches.
All these institutions are affiliated to their corresponding national regulatory bodies like the National Council for Teacher Education, All India Council Technical Education, Pharmacy Council India, Council of Architecture, etc, and obtained the approval from the Government of Kerala and due affiliations from the respective Universities. All this happened in a very short span of time, which itself is ample testimony to our unflinching commitment to that magic word called QUALITY!
