About Dr. M.K. Shah Medical College & Research Centre Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Dr. M.K. Shah Medical College & Research Centre (MK Shah MCRC), Ahmedabad is a private medical college established in 2016‑17, located on the Visat‑Gandhinagar Highway, Ahmedabad.  It is affiliated with Gujarat University and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). 
The college has an attached teaching hospital called Smt S.M.S. Multispeciality Hospital, which started operations around June 2016. The hospital is sizeable (≈1100 beds) and caters to patients from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, offering a broad spectrum of specialties in line with regulatory guidelines. 
MK Shah MCRC offers 150 MBBS seats per year under various quotas (state quota, management quota, etc.).  The infrastructure is modern, including gallery‑type lecture halls, well‑equipped labs, a medical skills lab, departmental museums, separate hostels for boys and girls, central library etc.
