Gian Sagar College of Nursing has been established under the aegis of Gian Sagar Education & Charitable Trust (Regd.). The Trust is managed by medical professionals fully dedicated to undertaking Human Resources Development Programmes through educational, health, and community welfare activities by establishing schools, colleges, hospitals, and social welfare centers.
The aim and objectives of the Trust focus on establishing, maintaining, and developing educational institutions, dispensaries, clinics, laboratories, and medical and nursing colleges for the socially backward and general public. It is committed to providing medical and educational facilities to the underprivileged sections of society, with a particular focus on women in the region. Efforts are consistently made to maintain a Centre of Excellence for higher studies in nursing, serving as a foundation for addressing contemporary and future developments.
In line with these goals, the Trust established Gian Sagar College of Nursing, which is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), Punjab Nurses Registration Council (PNRC), and is affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot.
