About Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science Guwahati, Assam

The Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (GIPS) was established in 2007 by the Shrimanta Shankar Academy (SSA) in Assam, and is located at Hatkhowapara, Azara, Guwahati (NH-37, Guwahati – 781017).
GIPS is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is affiliated to Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU). 
The institute offers a wide range of programmes in pharmaceutical sciences including Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), as well as postgraduate (M.Pharm) and doctoral (Ph.D) options. 
GIPS boasts modern infrastructure – well-equipped laboratories, a digital library, hostels, sports and gymnasium facilities – to support both academic and holistic student development.
