About GMERS Medical College, Dharpur Patan Patan, Gujarat

GMERS Medical College & Hospital, Dharpur‑Patan (in Patan, North Gujarat) is a government‑society medical college established in 2012 under the Gujarat Medical Education & Research Society (GMERS). It is affiliated with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). 
The college campus is spread over about 62 acres, comprising multiple academic blocks constructed in line with regulatory norms for pre‑clinical and para‑clinical departments. There are several lecture theatres (including air‑conditioned ones), demonstration rooms in all departments, a three‑storey A/C library with an additional A/C outer reading room, and hostels for both boys and girls. Residential quarters are also provided for teaching, non‑teaching, and nursing staff. 
On the hospital side, the attached teaching hospital is a large, multi‑specialty facility providing a wide range of services. It has emergency and trauma services, multiple ICUs, NICU, etc., and runs many departments (Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, etc.)
