Gouri Devi Nursing Academy (GDNA) was established in August 2013 under the umbrella of the Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management. This initiative was rooted in the altruistic vision of the Gouri Devi Hospital & Research Institute to significantly enhance the healthcare system in Durgapur and its surrounding regions.
GDNA commenced its educational journey by offering the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course. Due to growing demand and commitment to comprehensive healthcare training, the academy gradually expanded its offerings to include the B.Sc. Nursing and various Paramedical courses.
The institution holds a recognized standing, being included in the list of colleges under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), which is maintained by the UGC, MHRD, and the Government of India.
