About Government Ayurved College,Nanded Nanded, Maharashtra

Government Ayurved College, Nanded is one of the oldest and well‑established Ayurvedic medical institutes in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. Founded in 1956, it is located in Vazirabad, Nanded, and occupies about 11 acres in the city, with an additional herbal garden of over 100 acres situated approximately 20 km from the city. 
The college is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine.  It offers undergraduate (BAMS ‑ Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery), postgraduate (M.D.(Ayu) / M.S.(Ayu) in various specialties), and Ph.D. programs in different branches of Ayurveda. 
The college is attached to a well‑equipped hospital with about 230 beds for in‑patient care, while its outpatient department caters to approximately 500 patients daily. The hospital offers a variety of Ayurvedic therapies including Panchakarma, Ksharsutra, Suvarna Prashan, among others.  On campus, there is a Government Ayurved & Unani Pharmacy (established in 1957) with a Drug Testing Laboratory, which manufactures a range of Ayurved & Unani formulations under Schedule T GMP norms. 
In terms of infrastructure and student amenities, it offers facilities such as separate hostels for boys and girls, library, laboratories, auditorium, cafeteria, IT infrastructure, sports facilities, guest rooms, etc. The college fulfills the eligibility criteria for admission via NEET for undergraduate Ayurved (BAMS) courses.
