JAWAHARLAL NEHRU CHARITABLE EDUCATIONAL TRUST (JNCET), BORAWAN was founded in 1996 under the Trust Registration Act with the registration no.1/95-96 dated 13-06-1996 by Late Shri Subhash Yadav, a man with the vision to serve the community at large. The Trust felt the need for sincere and honest efforts to cater and nourish the basic educational needs of the underprivileged youth belonging to remote areas of Nimar region of Madhya Pradesh. The Trust established GRY Institute of Pharmacy (GRYIP) in the year 2001 to impart education, research, innovation, training and entrepreneurship in pharmaceutical sciences. GRYIP is a unique centre of excellence for Pharmaceutical Education and Research offering courses in D. Pharm, B. Pharm,M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical chemistry).The Institute is accredited from NAAC B++ grade with CGPA 2.97, the programs are approved by PCI, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh and affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal. The Institute, is built up in a campus area of 5 acre is studded with the best infrastructure facilities, comprising modern classrooms with multimedia facilities and smart boards, aptly equipped laboratories, advanced computer centre, a knowledge-rich library comprising of around 11500 books with 25 national, international journals and 390 e-journalswith regular periodicals and magazines being made available for the benefit of students and faculty members. We hold pride in our aptly qualified, experienced, dedicated and highly proficient faculty members. Also, several reputed professionals pay regular and timely visits to GRYIP for delivering special lectures with their worthy words of knowledge and wisdom. They share their experiences on the latest development in the field of pharmacy and enlighten the students with several opportunities. We at GRYIP, besides imparting quality education, are entitled to constructing future professionals and are committed to training socially sensitive, responsible and competent individuals in the field of pharmacy. The friendly alumni 1500+ across the globe make a powerful industry-academia interactive model, and a degree of cooperation across disciplinary boundaries and industrial houses, the Institute has 30active MoUs from industry for students training placement and projects. To comply with the guidelines of regulatory bodies, the Institute has constituted various committees for continuous protection of students and to strengthen their values. A proactive Women Cell ensures the safety and dignity of women employees and students. The performance of the students is monitored by comprehensive continuous evaluation. Need-based remedial inputs are provided to improve the performance of weak students. Our students also excel in the competitive exams at the national level like GPAT, NIPER, etc. The Institute organizes workshops/seminars for students on personality development, soft skill development, interview techniques, career guidance etc. which helps to boost the confidence and performance of the students. The training and placement cell of the Institute organizes regular placement drives for the passing out students. The Institute has magnificently designed playground, gym, separate hostels for boys and girls each with all modern facilities, for boarding and other recreational activities for multifaceted development of students. The Institute provides 24 x 7 safety, security, Wi-Fi facilities. Since its inception the trust is striving hard for the development of poor & weaker section of the society viz, SC, ST, OBC & Minority and had made deliberate efforts for the development of rural youth by establishing various education Institutes to empower them in living standards, financially & socially.
