About Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhuj Bhuj, Gujarat

Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences (GAIMS), Bhuj is a medical college established in 2009 under a Public‑Private‑Partnership (PPP) between the Government of Gujarat and the Adani Education & Research Foundation.  It is affiliated with Krantiguru Shyamji Krishna Verma (KSKV) Kachchh University. 
The institute offers an MBBS program with an annual intake of 150 students, and also runs multiple postgraduate (MD/MS) programs in various specialties.  The college is attached to G. K. General Hospital (GKGH), which is a multi‑specialty teaching district hospital with around 750 beds, multiple ICUs—including NICU, PICU, etc.—about 14 operation theatres, and modern diagnostic facilities like a 1.5 Tesla MRI and 128‑slice CT scan. 
The campus spans about 27 acres in Bhuj city, and includes separate hostels for male and female students, residential quarters for staff, and other typical infrastructure (lecture halls, labs, library). GAIMS is noted for serving a wide range of patients, including underprivileged populations in the Kutch district.
