Shree Chanakya Education Society founded Indira College of Pharmacy- ICP in 2006, with the B. Pharm. (Bachelor of Pharmacy) course. With a zest for spreading quality healthcare education, we introduced M. Pharm. (Pharmaceutics) in 2010, Pharm. D (Doctor of Pharmacy) in 2016 with recent addition of D. Pharm. (Diploma in Pharmacy) M. Pharm. (Quality Assurance) courses & Ph. D in 2020 and M. Pharm Pharmacology in 2023. The institute also started a Research Centre in 2020 with a full-time Ph. D program in pharmaceutical science.
True to our tradition, ICP with its motto of ‘Redefining Pharmacy Education’ has been dispensing cutting edge knowledge in this highly sophisticated field of drug development and delivery, promoting in the process, a crop of well qualified and socially conscious alumni who have created a niche in the pharmaceutical field.
SCES’s Indira College of Pharmacy is Self- financing Private institutions Permanently Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University for B. Pharm. course and is registered under section 2f and 12B of UGC act. The college was accredited by NAAC A+ grade and CGPA 3.34 in February 2023. The college has earned several laurels, in the short span of its existence e.g. The college is the recipient of “Platinum Rank” in AICTE-CII survey 2018, the college received “Brand Leadership Award” at the 7th World Health & Wellness Congress, & Pharma Excellence awards in February 2023, recipient of ‘Award for Institute with Best Social Outreach’ in the World Education Congress Awards July 2022. Our Principal, Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Anagha Joshi is the recipient of the 'Best Principal Award' in the World Education Congress Awards July 2022.
