The Tripura Nursing Council is dedicated to upholding and advancing the standards of nursing education and practice across the state. Its primary objectives include:
Standardizing Education and Training: To faithfully implement and enforce the rules, regulations, and various training policies set forth by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) across all nursing programs within Tripura.
Quality Assurance: To ensure that all nursing programs throughout the state maintain the minimum standards of education and training prescribed by the INC, guaranteeing high quality across institutions.
Institutional Oversight and Approval: To inspect, assess, and officially affiliate different Nursing Institutions in Tripura, ensuring they strictly adhere to the established norms of the INC.
Professional Registry Management: To maintain the State Nurses’ Register and oversee the registration and licensing of all qualified nursing personnel operating under the Council’s jurisdiction.
Continuous Professional Development: To organize and conduct various training programs, workshops, and seminars aimed at the ongoing development and enhancement of Nursing Services within the state.
