JDT Islam Orphanage Committee ventured into field of Pharmacy education in 1996 with the commencement of Diploma in Pharmacy. Within a short time span it has become one of the most sought after pharmacy colleges in Kerala. Subsequent to the career success of pharmacists and the increased demand in the health – care industry JDT started its degree course in pharmacy in the year 2004.
The institution is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences and is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The College has a team of qualified and experienced teachers who are the backbone and guiding spirit behind the success of the institution. Currently the institution is also conducting M.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice). The students are provided evidence based practice at Iqraa International Hospital and research Centre.
Aspiring Pharmacists can pursue their passion for healthcare at JDT Islam College of Pharmacy through the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) program, open to 12th pass students, and the Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) program, which requires a B. Pharm degree for eligibility. With a focus on providing comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience, the college is committed to molding skilled and dedicated professionals in the field of Pharmacy.
