Jiwaji University, established on May 23, 1964, is a prominent public collegiate university situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. Named after Maharaja Shrimant Jiwajirao Scindia, the foundation stone of its expansive 225-acre campus was laid by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the then President of India. The university is recognized by the UGC and holds a high 'A++' Grade accreditation from NAAC, signifying its commitment to quality education and research. Jiwaji University operates with the motto 'Vidhya Praapyate Tejha' (Education brings Aplomb and Glory) and plays a vital role in catering to the higher education needs of a large jurisdiction across several districts of the Gwalior-Chambal region.
