Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences College of Nursing is located in midst of the extravagant 800 acres Medical College campus, at Narketpally, Nalgonda Dist, T.S,which is 85km from Hyderabad & 190 kms from Vijaayawada, on N.H 65 (old N.H 9) Hyderabad to Vijayawada. It is well connected by road and rail. Nalgonda railway station is 18km from campus which is the preferred station by our students, where most of the superfast trains that runs through three to four states halt. Our students travel by this train in a good and comfortable manner; the college bus drops and picks students who go for vacation.

Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences College of Nursing was established in the year 2004 and permitted by Govt of A.P, Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, APN&MC, Hyderabad to admit 100 candidates per annum into B.Sc (N) 4YDC course. M.Sc (Nursing) programme was started in the year 2012 with an intake of 20 students per annum in 4 specialities i.e., Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Mental Health Nursing 5 seats in each speciality. College is affiliated to DR.NTR UHS, Vijayawada & after bifurcation it is affiliated to KNRUHS, Warangal. The college is located in a separate three-floored building. The college is having senior and experienced nursing and medical faculty, paving way for best academic excellence.
