Khalsa College of Nursing was added as a milestone in the year 2006 with the aim to prepare well qualified nurses to improve nursing services. It is widely recognized as a center of excellence in the field of nursing education with excellence in job training facilities in North Zone. The institution has highly qualified and experienced Faculty. The college has well-equipped laboratories and Library for Nursing Students with all the modern Facilities. The college has well ventilated classrooms updated with modern technology. The college possesses good and comfortable accommodation for students with all the facilities like round the clock security, entertainment, boarding and mess.
The College of Nursing came into existence in 2006 with the intake of 60 students of B.Sc. Nursing. Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing and GNM Courses were started in 2009 with an intake of 30 & 40 seats respectively. M.Sc. Nursing was also added with an intake of 20 seats with four specialty areas in the year 2010. ANM is just started with intake of 30 students in 2012.
