K.L.P. College is affiliated to IGU Meerpur Rewari, established in 1964, with an objective of imparting quality education to the aspiring students of South Haryana. Kishan Lal Public College has completed more than five decades in its pursuit of academic excellence. Under the aegis of Public Education Board Rewari, an independent governing body manages the college. Named after an educationist and a visionary philanthropist Late Pt. Kishan Lal Sharma, the college has earned a remarkable reputation in the state as a co-educational academic institute.
Late Smt. Javitri Devi (Wife of Late Pt. Kishan Lal Sharma) deserves special mention as the first donor towards the dream of an educational institute in the region. Her generous donation inspired others to come forward and collaborate to make this dream turn into a reality. Beginning its journey with just 250 students and a very limited infrastructure, the college now possesses a proud strength of approximately 3500 students and is successfully running various courses approved by Indira Gandhi University ,Meerpur ,Rewari.
