About KMCT Ayurveda Medical College Kozhikode, Kerala

KMCT Ayurveda Medical College (also known as KMCT Ayurveda College), located at Manassery, Mukkam in Kozhikode district, Kerala, is a well‑known institution for Ayurvedic education and research. It was established in 2006 by the KMCT group, and is approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).
The college offers the B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree programme, following the national syllabus set by CCIM/NCISM, with a duration of 5½ years (including one year compulsory internship).  It admits about 60 students per year for BAMS. 
KMCT Ayurveda has good infrastructure: a 100‑bed hospital with OPD and IPD services covering all Ayurvedic specialisations, a herbal garden with over 250 medicinal plant species, well‑equipped labs, a library with thousands of Ayurvedic & modern medicine books, and computer lab facilities.The college hospital is also NABH accredited, and the institution has earned an ‘A’ grade from NAAC, being the first Ayurveda Medical College in Kerala to do so.
