Established by Mahila Utkarsh Pratishthan, this Ayurvedic institution is located at Pundlik Nagar, Degaon Phata, Taluka Risod, District Washim, Maharashtra (PIN 444506). The college began operations in 2007 (some sources note 1998 for the parent organisation) with the aim of providing quality education and healthcare in the traditional Ayurvedic system.
Affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and recognised by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), the institution is permitted to run the undergraduate programme Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) with an intake of 60 seats.
The curriculum spans 5½ years (including internship) and is structured across pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical phases, covering subjects such as anatomy, pharmacology, kaumarbhritya (pediatrics), stri-roga and prasuti tantra (gynaecology & obstetrics), shalya (surgery), shalakya (ENT & ophthalmology) and panchakarma.
The campus comprises approximately 5–10 acres, featuring a herbal garden, separate hostels for boys and girls, gymnasium, sports ground, an auditorium, and a fully-equipped hospital centre attached to the college for clinical training and patient care.
