Maya Devi University (MDU), Dehradun is a private university located in Selaqui (on NH-72, Chakrata Road), in the foothills near Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Founded in 2010 (originally as the Maya Group of Colleges), it gained university status under the “Uttarakhand Private University (Amendment) Act 2024.” 
MDU offers a wide spectrum of academic programs — from diploma to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels — across fields including engineering & technology (B.Tech, M.Tech), pharmacy, management, commerce, applied sciences, agriculture, hotel & hospitality management, tourism, computer applications, animation, and more. 
The campus infrastructure is described as modern and comprehensive: there are smart classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a large library with both physical and digital resources, 24×7 Wi-Fi, and comfortable hostel facilities for both boys and girls (single/double/triple occupancy). For student life and overall development, MDU also provides sports grounds, recreation facilities, cafeterias / mess, auditoriums, seminar halls, medical facilities, and transport services.
