About Milad E Sherif Memorial College, Kayamkulam Kayamkulam, Kerala

The college was founded by late Al-Haj P.K.Kunju Sahib as a realisation of his long cherished dream of cultural advancement of the uneducated people of central Travancore. “MSM”, Milad-E-Sherief Memorial is a reminiscent of Milad-E-Sherief, the sacred birth day of the Holy Prophet. A monument to the holy Prophet being a religious taboo to Islam, a monument to the sacred birth day of the Holy Prophet was contemplated.

MSM College is a symbol of empowerment and education located in the centre of Kayamkulam. Al Haj P.K. Kunjusahib, the former Finance Minister of Kerala State, founded the institution in 1964. It is a monument to his visionary leadership and commitment to helping the underprivileged and worthy minorities in society.

Managed by the MSM Trust, MSM College is more than just a college, it has served as a beacon of knowledge and hope for many generations. We have developed from modest beginnings to become the region’s centre of academic achievement over time. 

The institution is proud of its highly effective faculty members who are committed to developing students’ potential and encouraging critical thinking.
