M.N.D.A.V. Dental College & Hospital is a Private Dental college established in the year 1997 run under the guiding principles of Swami Viveka Nand & Mahatma Hans Raj Ji and with the guidance of Hon’ble Shri Punam Suri Ji, President DAV College Managing Committee. The college is affiliated to Atal Medical & Research University, Himachal Pradesh and and recognized by Dental Council of India and Govt of India with the annual intake of 60 seats in BDS. It is located at 10 km away from Solan city in the green valley and pollution free zone of Solan hills.
The Dental college is located in a constructed area of 209590 sq.ft and a non-constructed area of 8213 sqft with state of the art infrastructure which has set high standards in terms of Dental Education and creates an environment for excellent student oriented, patient friendly environment with dedicated faculty in place. Currently the college is equipped with 150 latest electronic Dental chairs and has set up a well maintained laboratory with all the latest equipment. There are technology driven air conditioned gallery type lecture halls with audio-visual and multimedia projection capabilities. There are spacious examination hall and seminar halls. The Library is spread in a huge area with good collection of books and National and International Journals with back volumes with an excellent E-Library facility to benefit the students. State of art preclinical labs equipped with patient simulations and Wi Fi enabled campus. There is a Dental education museum within the campus. The campus houses well ventilated spacious hostels for girls and boys separately with staff quarters. The playground in the sprawling campus is ideal for basketball, football, cricket and volleyball and other games. It is attached with the Govt. Regional Hospital, Solan for clinical practice.
