Established by Dr. Ravi Mehra and his family of doctors, the Shambhu Narain Foundation Charitable Trust has launched the R. K. Institute of Ayurvedic Medical Sciences (RKIAMS). The institute is set to offer a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) course. The program has received approval from the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and is affiliated with MJP Rohilkhand University in Bareilly.
RKIAMS is situated on a sprawling, pollution-free campus with modern and well-equipped facilities. It's considered one of the top Ayurvedic colleges in the Bareilly area. The Shambhu Narain Foundation Charitable Trust, which oversees the institution, is dedicated to several key objectives: promoting social values through services, advancing technical and professional education, and supporting health and medical education.
The trust also manages other institutions and hospitals that provide a wide range of professional degrees and diplomas in fields such as pharmacy, paramedical sciences, medicine, management, computer applications, and basic sciences.
