The Samarth Institute of Pharmacy (SIOP) is a private pharmaceutical institution located strategically on the Kalyan-Nagar Highway at Bangarwadi, Post-Belhe, Taluka Junnar, District Pune, Maharashtra. It was established in 2017 under the umbrella of the Samarth Rural Educational Institute (SREIR), with the goal of providing quality, affordable technical education to students in Western Maharashtra's rural areas. The institute is fully approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is affiliated with the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), Lonere for its degree programs (B.Pharm and M.Pharm), and the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai for its diploma program (D.Pharm).
SIOP offers a comprehensive range of programs, including the D. Pharmacy (Diploma, 60 seats), the B. Pharmacy (Bachelor, 100 seats), and the M. Pharmacy (Master) with specializations in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Quality Assurance. Admission to the B. Pharmacy course is primarily merit-based, accepting scores from the state-level entrance exam MHT-CET (and sometimes NEET).
