The 'Seth Girdhari Lal Bihani Sanatan Dharma Shikshan Sansthan' is a progressive institution established with the sacred commitment of nurturing the comprehensive development of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The college is situated on National Highway-62 in Sri Ganganagar for nearly six decades. Founded in 1951 as a higher secondary school, it progressed to an intermediate college in 1957, a degree college in 1959, and finally attained the status of a postgraduate college in July 1966. The journey of development continued with the introduction of postgraduate programs in science in 1967, law in 1969, and postgraduate diploma courses in computer applications in 1999. The institution expanded further in 2003 by adding postgraduate classes in chemistry, botany, and computer science. Subsequently, in 2004, programs in zoology, mathematics, and biotechnology were introduced, followed by physics in 2015.
