Shankersinh Vaghela Bapu Institute of Pharmacy (SVBIP) was established in 2009 as a self‑financed institution under the Bapu Gujarat Knowledge Village (BGKV) in Vasan, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and affiliated with Gujarat Technological University (GTU) The campus is situated on the Gandhinagar–Mansa Road, about 7 kms from Gandhinagar, and is part of a 40‑acre serene, green setting offered by the BGKV campus. SVBIP has a dedicated building which houses 14 well‑equipped laboratories including an instrument room, industrial laboratory, an animal house, library, auditorium, seminar hall and classroom/tutorial spaces designed to meet PCI/ AICTE norms. SVBIP offers the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) programme with an intake of 60 seats. It also provides postgraduate courses (M.Pharm) such as Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance.
