Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College (SBMC), formerly known as Hazaribag Medical College, is a government medical institution in Kolghatti, Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand, established in 2019. It is affiliated with Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college offers the MBBS course with an annual intake of 100 students. Its teaching hospital, Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College Hospital, serves as a major healthcare facility in the region, providing extensive clinical exposure in various specialties and essential services including emergency, diagnostics, critical care, and trauma care.
