Shree Mahavir Institute of Pharmacy is a pharmacy college located in Nashik, Maharashtra, established under the umbrella of the Shree Mahavir Education Society to provide quality education, particularly in the rural area of Dindori. The institute was founded in 2003 (for the Diploma program) and is a well-recognized institution with approvals from key regulatory bodies, including the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The college is affiliated with the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), Lonere for its degree programs, and the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai for the Diploma course.
The institute offers a comprehensive range of programs in the field of Pharmacy: the D. Pharmacy (Diploma in Pharmacy), the B. Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy) with an intake of 100 seats, and the M. Pharmacy (Master of Pharmacy) with specializations such as Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance. Admission to the B. Pharmacy program is primarily based on the scores obtained in the MHT-CET/NEET examinations through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State.
