Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust for backward classes (Regd.), was established in the year 1986 by a group of philanthropic, dedicated and service minded people under the Chairmanship of Sri. R. L. Jalappa. Sri Devaraj Urs College of Nursing is a unit of Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust, which was entrenched in the year 1998, with a vision of providing standard education and training to the students. The College of Nursing is approved by Government of Karnataka and recognized by KNC, INC, New Delhi and affiliated to RGUHS, Bangalore and college has got NAAC accreditation
