Sri Vasavi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SVIPS), located in Pedda Palli, Tadepalligudem in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, is a well‑recognized institution offering pharmacy education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Established in 2005, it is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and is affiliated with Andhra University.The college provides B.Pharm (with an intake of 100 students) and M.Pharm programmes in multiple specialisations including Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance, and Pharmacology, each of which also have defined intake capacities.
The campus is compact (about 2.7 acres) and has good infrastructure: separate hostels for boys & girls (each accommodating ~500 students), well‑equipped laboratories (including a central instrumentation lab, pharmaceutics lab, pharmaceutical chemistry/analysis labs), a library with over 5,600 volumes and subscriptions to around 25 national/international journals.Sports facilities, auditorium, IT infrastructure, transport services (including a fleet of buses for students & staff) are also available.Admissions for B.Pharm are via AP EAPCET, while M.Pharm admissions are through GPAT or AP PGECET.
