The flourishing sugar factory in the co-operative sector was the product of the prognostic vision of the founder chairman Late Thakur Shivkumar Singh. The factory is the backbone of the economy in the region during 1981 as a result of the indefatigable hard work and perseverance of Late Thakur Shivkumar Singh. The shareholders of the sugar factory provided the financial support to the institution. Institution is owned, directed and controlled by the farmers and the shareholders. According to the project director Late Th. Virendra Singh the institution is of the farmers and by the farmers. Thakur Shivkumar Singh Memorial Group of Institution have revolutionized the educational map of the region.
