The Institution is established in the year 1986 at Barpali in the District of Bargarh, the Birth place of Late Genius poet “Gangadhar Meher” by an eminent and enlightened governing body with member of divergent abilities to meet the challenges of health care education and to carter the need of rural population in particular. The Institute has aimed for development of Pharmacy professional in the society. The Institution is affiliated & approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, Odisha State Board of Pharmacy, Odisha & Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha.
