Vaidyaratnam P.S. Varier Ayurveda College, located in Kottakkal, Malappuram, Kerala, is one of the oldest and most prestigious Ayurvedic institutions in India. Established in 1917 by the legendary Ayurvedic physician Vaidyaratnam P.S. Varier, the founder of Arya Vaidya Sala, the college has a long and respected tradition of imparting classical Ayurvedic education. Initially started as Aryavaidya Patasala in Calicut, it was later shifted to Kottakkal in 1924 to integrate academic learning with practical clinical training at the renowned Arya Vaidya Sala hospital.
