Varadaraja Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Tumkur (VIPER) is a young pharmacy institution with a vision to provide quality education, training and employable skills to future pharmacy professionals. The institution is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India New Delhi, Government of Karnataka and is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University for Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bengaluru. The college is located just 2 kms from the heart parts of the city and is well connected by the road.
The college offers four years Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) degree and two years Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) courses.

The institution has setup objectives to provide quality education of highest order at par with the esteemed pharmacy institutions across the country.
The lush green campus spread over 3 acres of land, has 3-storey building with state-of-the-art classrooms, new-age laboratories, administrative and faculty divisions, an auditorium and recreational facilities.

To complement these facilities, we have a very competent and dedicated faculty, a well-run infrastructure-supported and guided by our Founder-Director Dr. Durga Das Asranna. Dr. Asranna is also the founder of Kasturba Multi-Speciality Hospital, Tumkur, which facilitates training and job competence to the students.
