The Vimla Group began in 2008 with the founding of the Vimla Devi Jan Kalyan Sewa Samiti by Smt. Vimla Devi. The group officially started with the Family Hospital & Research Center in Hanspuram in 2010, which had a 50-bed capacity.
In 2013, they established Vimla Nursing College, offering GNM and ANM courses. The group continued to expand its educational offerings, introducing B.Sc. Nursing, D-Pharma, and B-Pharma programs in 2017 and 2019. They also started a school that provides education from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.
The college campus, located on 30 acres at Hardauli Manjhawan, is a peaceful environment, free from noise and pollution. It is situated 6 km from the NH-86 Ramaipur and 12 km from the Family Hospital in Naubasta, Kanpur.
Currently, the group operates a 60-bed multi-specialty hospital on campus. In 2022, they added an Ayurvedic Medical College with 60 seats for the BAMS program to provide practical training for students. The original Family Hospital has also been expanded to a 120-bed facility.
