Vivekananda Nursing Institute, located in Faridpur, Contai, commenced operations in 2022. The institute offers both the B.Sc. Nursing and GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) programs.

The institute has also applied for affiliation with the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Vivekananda Nursing Institute is an integral educational component of the Vivekananda Loksiksha Niketan, a Non-Governmental Organization based in Contai, Purba Medinipur.
