Zydus Medical College & Hospital (ZMCH), Dahod is a medical college set up under a Public‑Private Partnership (PPP) with the Government of Gujarat in 2016‑17 through Zydus Foundation. It is affiliated to Shri Govind Guru University, Godhra and is recognized by the medical regulatory authority. The college began its MBBS program in 2018 with 150 seats, of which a majority are reserved for state quota and the rest for management / national counselling. The hospital attached to the college has substantial capacity (about 650‑750 beds) and offers a wide array of clinical departments (surgery, medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, etc.), diagnostic services, emergency and intensive care including neonatal and paediatric ICUs, catering especially to tribal and underserved populations in eastern Gujarat and neighbouring states. Infrastructure includes various pre‑clinical and para‑clinical departments, hostels for students, laboratories, library, and support facilities.In short, ZMCH Dahod aims to provide modern medical education and healthcare services, with a special focus on tribal communities and less‑served regions.
